Georgia (Gunter) Hirsch
	Georgia Gunter Hirsch, age 94, of Garland, Tex., passed away on Friday, January 14, 2005 in the Senior Care Beltline in Garland, Tex.
	Georgia was born on March 15, 1910 in Hamilton County Illinois the daughter of Charles and Clara (Daily) Gunter. She was then married to Herman Hirsch who preceded her in death in 1998.
	Georgia was a past president of the Cairo Business Women's Club, and taught Sunday school to teenage girls at the First Southern Baptist Church of Cairo where she and her husband attended for 50 years. Georgia also helped her husband in the operation of Hirsch Printing and Stationary in Cairo.
	Georgia is survived by one son: Charles L. and Wanda Hirsch of Garland, Tex., one brother: Earl and Elaine Gunter of Bellville, one sister: Beatrice and Wendell Hooks of Dupo, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 
	She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Clara Gunter, husband of 67 years Herman, brothers Walter and Roy Gunter, and sister: Ruth Gunter.
	Funeral services for Georgia will be held on Monday January 17, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pyatt-Harrawood & Epplin Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Dr. Eugene Daily officiating.  Friends may call on Sunday January 16, 2005 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Pyatt-Harrawood & Epplin Funeral Home in Du Quoin. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Garland Foundation and will be accepted at the Funeral Home.
	Interment will be held at the I.O.O.F cemetery in Du Quoin.
